Angel was scheduled to appear in just a handful of Buffy the Vampire episodes, but ended up staying three seasons. Great cast chemistry and writing made this series one to watch.

In Blood Lines Vicki and Henry battle a mummy who is taking souls so he can ressurect a god. The episode Wrapped is loosely based on that novel. In Blood Pact, there is a young scientist involved in dangerous experiments and Vicki's mother is in danger.

Series creator Dan Curtis had a dream about a young governess riding a train on her way to a dark and strange estate. That dream became the soap opera Dark Shadows and ran from 1966 to 1971. What started as a gothic romance was in danger of being cancelled six months later. Curtis added a supernatural element and the rest is TV history.
